Internship Opportunity: Hunter Art Museum is looking for students who are interested in communications, outreach programs, and archival.
Internship Timeline: Rolling throughout the year
Commitment Required: Part-time
Student Levels Accepted: Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior, Rising Senior
Potential outcomes for completed programs: Mentorship Opportunities, as well as assistment with placement with community organizations
Application Deadline: Rolling, recommended 3 months prior to semester start
Internship Start Date: Rolling
Additional Information: We have unpaid internships for school credit through our communications department (fall and spring semesters) and registrar’s department on an as-needed basis (students with experience in archival work preferred).
We also have paid internships for Black and bilingual Hispanic students interested in working with youth in our outreach programs at local recreation centers.
We also have 1 summer paid internship for a college student with experience doing art with youth in informal learning environments to work for 8 weeks with our summer art camp. Bilingual students are encouraged to apply.
